Nsom Emmanuel Afumbom is a serial entrepreneur, software engineer and digital marketer from Cameroon’s North West Region, a region heavily affected by the Anglophone crisis. He builds from Bamenda, and has founded or co-founded six ventures since 2019.

He registered his first business in his second year of university, and several early attempts failed. In 2019 he co-founded the software company Skye8, and in 2020 he founded Uni B Agency, a digital marketing and software agency he ran alone before building a team.

Trained first as a medical laboratory scientist, he founded eLifesaver in 2022, a blood-donor platform inspired by shortages he saw in a hospital blood bank. It won the 2023 FOND-PROTO health grant, waited almost two years for regulatory approval, and resumed in 2026 with blood donation drives in Bamenda and Buea.

In 2024 he founded Oppnergy Community, which mentors young people to find opportunities. As Country Director of Better World Charity in Cameroon, he directed the New Generation Leaders Summit in Dubai in January 2025. He is Winner of Hult Prize Cameroon 2024 and an ELISA Business Scholar 2026, and holds an M.Eng in Computer Engineering from the University of Bamenda. Today he helps other founders start and grow their businesses.
